Chiropractor Shawn Blad D.C.
Dr. Blad has been serving Flower Mound patients for 17 years.
Why I Became a Chiropractor
When I was four my mother rolled her car. She flew out the window, landed on her back, and the car flipped over her. After years of chronic back pain the Doctors told my mom she would need back surgery. My mother then went to the local chiropractor who after 4-6 weeks of treatment fixed her back and she no longer needed surgery. We saw my mother go from a nagging and debilitating condition to a pain free happy mom. Seeing that drastic change was what inspired me to become a chiropractor. I want to do for other families what that chiropractor did for mine.
Dr. Blad graduated from Utah Valley University in 1997. He then attended Texas Chiropractic College where he received his Doctorate of Chiropractic in 2003. Dr. Blad, his wife Jessica, and their three boys Ian, Evan and Gavin have been living in Flower Mound since 2003. Dr. Blad has been in practice for 17 years. He and his family are active with their local church. Dr Blad has frequently lectured on various healthcare topics and is available for future speaking engagements.
In Swedish Blad means leaf. My great great grandfather changed his last name to Blad when he came to America because he wanted to turn over a new leaf. The staff at New Leaf Chiropractic is committed to help you turn over a new leaf! Whether it’s getting out of pain, or just feeling better you’ve found the right place!
